How to Check Power
Steering |
Brake and Power steering fluid are poisonous and
should be stored carefully in marked containers out
of reach of children.
Use only NEW brake fluid. Old fluid may be contaminated
which may result in damage to the braking system.
Do not spill fluid on painted surfaces. This will damage the
paint. If fluid is spilled, wash with water as soon as possible.
Check the
fluid in the reservoir. If the fluid is below the "MIN" level or
the brake warning light comes on, add brake fluid up to the
"MAX" line.
If the fluid is added frequently, the system should be
thoroughly checked by a competent mechanic because the system
may have developed a leak.
The Power steering Fluid level should be
checked when the fluid is cold.
Use only
steering fluid recommended for your vehicle.
Between 10:00
PM
and 3:00
AM
on Friday and Saturday nights, at least one of
every five drivers is legally drunk.
How can you help prevent drunk
driving?
-
Do not consume alcohol or use illicit drugs.
It
is against the law to consume alcohol if you are under 21
years of age and illicit drugs are illegal no matter what
your age.
-
Focus activities on something other than
alcohol.
-
If you do consume alcohol, never get behind
the wheel of a car. If the person you rode with consumes
alcohol, find a ride home from someone who is sober, call a
taxi, or call a friend who can pick you up.
Remember! It is better to be
safe than Sorry.
